Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king’s commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over those who hated them;)

Surely the anger of man shall praise you: the remaining anger shall you restrain.

Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.

And it shall turn out for you as a testimony.

Therefore those who were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the word.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

But you know his trustworthiness, that, as a son with his father, he has served with me in the gospel.

Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving, but you only.

And I appeal to you also, true yoke fellow, help those women which labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with my other fellow laborers, whose names are in the book of life.

I desire therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without anger and doubting.

For which I suffer trouble, as an evildoer, even to being bound; but the word of God is not bound.

Nevertheless the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
