Of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites: of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

But your little ones, which you said would be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which you have despised.

And the sons of Pharez were; of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites: of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.

Reuben, the eldest son of Israel: the children of Reuben; Hanoch, of whom comes the family of the Hanochites: of Pallu, the family of the Palluites:

These are the families of the Reubenites: and those who were numbered of them were forty three thousand seven hundred and thirty.
