And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarry not for man, nor wait for the sons of men.

So shall we come upon him in some place where he shall be found, and we will come upon him as the dew falls on the ground: and of him and of all the men that are with him there shall not be left so much as one.

Your people shall be willing in the day of your power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: you have the dew of your youth.

Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? are you not he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait for you: for you have made all these things.

Yet behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth to you, and you shall see their way and their doings: and you shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.

Afterward he brought me again to the door of the house; and, behold, waters flowed out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the front of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.

Thus says the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.

And those that do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people who know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

I will be as the dew to Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and put forth his roots as Lebanon.

Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and former rain to the earth.

And it shall come to pass that whoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish justice in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.

I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of you; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together like the sheep of Bozrah, like the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make a loud noise because of the multitude of men.

Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs brass: and you shall beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their possessions unto the Lord of the whole earth.

And I will make her who limped a remnant, and her who was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from this time forwards, even for ever.

Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she who labors in birth has brought forth: then the remnant of his people shall return to the children of Israel.

And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he goes through, both treads down, and tears in pieces, and none can deliver.

Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he does not retain his anger for ever, because he delights in mercy.

The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the sea in front, and half of them toward the sea in back: in summer and in winter shall it be.

When I have bent Judah for myself, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and made you as the sword of a mighty man.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit:

And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing you put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and requested him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.

But the Lord said to him, Go your way: for he is a chosen vessel to me, to bring my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

But Isaiah is very bold, and says, I was found by those who did not seek me; I was revealed to those who did not ask for me.

Now if the fall of them is the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fullness?

What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who did not follow after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the gentle rain upon the tender plant, and as the showers upon the grass:

And Gideon said to God, If you will save Israel by my hand, as you have said,
