And Asa cried out unto the Lord his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with you to help, whether with many, or with those who have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we depend on you, and in your name we are going against this multitude. O LORD, you are our God; let not man prevail against you.

O our God, will you not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that comes against us; neither do we know what to do: but our eyes are upon you.

Why do you stand afar off, O LORD? why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

So the captain came to him, and said to him, What do you mean, O sleeper? arise, call upon your God, if perhaps God will think of us, so that we do not perish.

And, behold, there came a leper and worshiped him, saying, Lord, if you desire, you can make me clean.

And, behold, there arose a powerful wind in the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

While he spoke these things to them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshiped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay your hand upon her, and she shall live.

And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we are perishing! Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.
