But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way did the Spirit of the LORD go from me to speak to you?

And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.

Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why do you strike me?

Now therefore there is surely a fault among you, because you go to court with one another. Why do you not rather suffer wrong? Why do you not rather allow yourselves to be taken advantage of?

See that none renders evil for evil to anyone; but always follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

You have not yet resisted until bloodshed, striving against sin.

You have condemned and killed the just; and he does not resist you.

Not repaying evil for evil, or insults for insults: but on the contrary blessing; knowing that you are called to this, that you should inherit a blessing.
