And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought to him all sick people that were taken with various diseases and torments, and those who were possessed with devils, and those who were insane, and those who were paralytics; and he healed them.

Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David wherever he went.

And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to test him with hard questions.

For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.

And the fame of David went out into all lands; and the LORD brought the fear of him upon all nations.

Then was brought to him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, so that the blind and dumb man both spoke and saw.

At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus,

And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same area, and cried out to him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is greatly distressed with a devil.

Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is insane, and greatly distressed: for frequently he falls into the fire, and frequently into the water.

And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

And Jesus went around in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

And when he had come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

And those who kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told everything, and what happened to the ones possessed by the devils.

And saying, Lord, my servant lies at home sick with paralysis, greatly tormented.

And the fame of it went abroad into all that land.

And Jesus went around in all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.

And at evening, when the sun set, they brought to him all who were diseased, and those who were possessed with devils.

And they came to him, bringing one sick with paralysis, who was carried by four people.

And when they could not come near him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed in which the one sick with paralysis lay.

Which is it easier to say to the one sick with paralysis, Your sins be forgiven you; or to say, Arise, and take up your bed, and walk?

(And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)

And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon’s house. And Simon’s wife’s mother was taken with a great fever; and they appealed to him for her.

But so much the more his renown spread widely: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

But that you may know that the Son of man has power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said to the one sick with paralysis,) I say to you, Arise, and take up your bed, and go into your house.

And this report of him went out throughout all Judea, and throughout all the region round about.

Others said, These are not the words of him that has a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went around doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil; for God was with him.

And they wrote letters by them as follows; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting to the believers which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia:

And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.

So when this was done, others also, who had diseases in the island, came, and were healed:

For unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with paralysis, and who were lame, were healed.

So the LORD was with Joshua; and his fame was broadcast throughout all the country.
