And you, Capernaum, which are exalted to heaven, shall be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in you, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

And when they had come to Capernaum, those who received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Does not your master pay tribute?

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,

The land of Zebulon, and the land of Naphtali, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;

And he entered into a boat, and passed over, and came into his own city.

And they went into Capernaum; and immediately on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.

And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was reported that he was in the house.

And you, Capernaum, which are exalted to heaven, shall be thrust down to hell.

And he said to them, You will surely say to me this proverb, Physician, heal yourself: whatever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in your country.

After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brothers, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.

So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum.

And entered into a boat, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus had not come to them.

When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, nor his disciples, they also took boats, and came to Capernaum, looking for Jesus.

These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
