Therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel against the shepherds that feed my people; You have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, says the LORD.
The people of the land have used oppression, and committed robbery, and have troubled the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to you?
And some days afterwards Paul said to Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our fellow believers in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they are doing.
And they turned aside there, to go in and to lodge in Gibeah: and when he went in, he sat down in a street of the city: for there was no man that took them into his house to lodging.
