Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish from the way, when his anger is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in him.

You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

And Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary his mother, Behold, this child is appointed for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

Whoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Jesus answered, You could have no power at all against me, unless it were given you from above: therefore he that delivered me to you has the greater sin.

As it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense: and whoever believes in him shall not be ashamed.

Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins always: for the wrath has come upon them to the greatest extent.

And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense, even to those who stumble at the word, being disobedient: to which also they were appointed.
