And whoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
Whoever therefore shall humble himself like this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
But it shall not be so among you: but whoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
But you shall not be so: but he who is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he who is chief, as he who serves.
I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
For I suppose I was not at all behind the very chief apostles.
And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved.
For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
