And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said to them,
And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I am doing;
He answered and said to them, Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
On the next day many people that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
From now on I do not call you servants; for the servant does not know what his lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.
Not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
