And their father Israel said to them, If it must be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down to the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:

Who is this that comes out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all powders of the merchant?

The multitude of camels shall cover your land, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the LORD.

And he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of the food offering, and of the oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is upon the food offering, and shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savor, even the memorial of it, unto the LORD.

For from the rising of the sun even to the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, says the LORD of hosts.

One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense:

The golden spoons were twelve, full of incense, weighing ten shekels apiece, according to the shekel of the sanctuary: all the gold of the spoons was a hundred and twenty shekels.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way: When his mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit.

While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brothers stood outside, desiring to speak with him.

Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped him, saying, Of a truth you are the Son of God.

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

Saying, Where is he who is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.

And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise to the Lord, and spoke of him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

And there came also Nicodemus, who at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds’ weight.

And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, See that you do not do it: I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and twenty four elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of incense, which are the prayers of saints.

But the children of Belial said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him, and brought him no presents. But he held his peace.
