Then said Jesus to his disciples, Truly I say to you, That a rich man shall with difficulty enter into the kingdom of heaven.

He that trusts in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.

He also who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word; and the concerns of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

And said, Truly I say to you, Unless you are converted, and become like little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

Which of the two did the will of his father? They said to him, The first. Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, That the tax collectors and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

For I say to you, That unless your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter into the kingdom of heaven.

And Jesus looked round about, and said to his disciples, How difficult it is for those who have riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, With what difficulty shall those who have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

For you see your calling, brethren, how not many wise men according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

But you have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
