So Absalom dwelt two full years in Jerusalem, and did not see the king’s face.

And he said, Hear therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he sends forth judgment bringing victory.

Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

But whoever shall offend one of these little ones who believe in me, it would be better for him that a millstone were hanged around his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

And when they had departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and remain there until I bring you word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

And the angel answering said to him, I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God; and am sent to speak to you, and to show you these glad tidings.

He who hears you hears me; and he who despises you despises me; and he who despises me despises him that sent me.

And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

He saw clearly in a vision about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying to him, Cornelius.

And they said to her, You are mad. But she continually affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.

And immediately the angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give God the glory: and he was eaten by worms, and gave up the ghost.

For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,

But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them out, and said,

But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you despise your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor anything by which your brother stumbles, or is offended, or is made weak.

We then who are strong ought to bear with the concerns of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

What? Do you not have houses to eat and to drink in? Or do you despise the church of God, and shame those who have not? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you.

Let no one therefore despise him: but bring him onwards in peace, that he may come to me: for I am waiting for him with the brethren.

To the weak I became as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

Now I Paul myself plead with you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you:

For his letters, they say, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.

Brethren, if a man is overtaken in a fault, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.

He therefore that despises these things, does not despise man, but God, who has also given to us his Holy Spirit.

Let no one despise your youth; but be an example to the believers, in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for those who shall be heirs of salvation?

For Christ has not entered into the sanctuary made with hands, which is a representation of the true one; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
