And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is an uninhabited place, and the hour is now late; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves food.
Then Jesus called his disciples to him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they have continued with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, so that they do not faint on the way.
He answered and said to them, You give them something to eat. And they said to him, Shall we go and buy two hundred silver coins worth of bread, and give it to them to eat?
But he said to them, You give them something to eat. And they said, We have no more than five loaves and two fish; unless we should go and buy food for all these people.
