So that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb speak, the maimed whole, the lame walk, and the blind see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet what looked like a paved work of a sapphire stone, and like the substance of heaven in its clearness.
And great multitudes came to him, having with them those who were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and put them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them:
Therefore if your hand or your foot offends you, cut it off, and throw it away from you: it is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be thrown into everlasting fire.
And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out before them all; so that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw anything like this!
And if your hand offends you, cut it off: it is better for you to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
So that servant came, and told his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor, and the maimed, and the lame, and the blind.
