And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and broke, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

He said, Bring them here to me.

And he commanded them to make everyone sit down by companies on the green grass.

And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and broke the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fish he divided among them all.

And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:

And he took bread, and gave thanks, and broke it, and gave to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

And it came to pass, as he sat at dinner with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and broke, and gave to them.

For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down in groups of fifty.

Then he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and broke, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.

Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank you that you have heard me.

(However there came other boats from Tiberias near to the place where they ate bread, after the Lord had given thanks:)

And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in the presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.

He that regards the day, regards it for the Lord; and he that does not regard the day, to the Lord he does not regard it. He that eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he that does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks.

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

And when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

As soon as you have come into the city, you shall at once find him, before he goes up to the high place to eat: for the people will not eat until he comes, because he blesses the sacrifice; and afterwards they eat that be invited. Now therefore go up; for about this time you shall find him.
