And it came to pass about three months later, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar your daughter in law has played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt.
And whoever lies carnally with a woman that is a servant, betrothed to a husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.
And the man that commits adultery with another man’s wife, even he that commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the comforting of Israel: and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that fears God, and of good reputation among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house, and to hear words from you.
And when it was day, they did not recognize the land: but they discovered a certain creek with a shore, into which they intended, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship.
