And the LORD said to Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be before they believe me, for all the signs which I have shown among them?
Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not heard and obeyed my voice;
How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.
Afterward he appeared to the eleven as they sat at dinner, and reproached them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him after he was risen.
And wherever it seizes him, it convulses him: and he foams, and gnashes with his teeth, and withers away: and I spoke to your disciples that they should cast it out; and they could not.
And they brought him to him: and when he saw him, immediately the spirit convulsed him; and he fell on the ground, and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.
Then said he to Thomas, Reach here your finger, and see my hands; and reach here your hand, and thrust it into my side: and do not be faithless, but believing.
And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very obstinate generation, children in whom is no faith.
