And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baked on the coals, and a jar of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid himself down again.

As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him.

The eyes of all wait upon you; and you give them their food in due season.

The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and you will throw all their sins down into the depths of the sea.

And Jesus went on, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were widely scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.

And Jesus, moved with compassion, put out his hand, and touched him, and said to him, I will; be thou clean.

However Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, Go home to your friends, and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and has had compassion on you.

And they departed into an uninhabited place by boat privately.

And Jesus, when he came out, saw many people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.

And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint on the way: for some of them came from afar.

And often it has thrown him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us.

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said to her, Do not weep.

Therefore in all things it was necessary for him to be made like his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

For we have not a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our weaknesses; but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on those who have gone astray; because he himself also is subject to weakness.
