And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

And said, Thus far shall you come, but no further: and here shall your proud waves be restrained?

He makes the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

Fire, and hail; snow, and vapor; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

The LORD sits upon the flood; yea, the LORD sits King for ever.

Who stills the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.

You rule the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, you still them.

But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand, and on their left.

When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

Do you not fear me? says the LORD: will you not tremble at my presence, who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

For the Lord will not cast off for ever:

He rebukes the sea, and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers: Bashan is exhausted, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon droops.

And he said to them, Why are you fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

And he was in the rear part of the boat, asleep on a pillow: and they awoke him, and said to him, Master, do you not care that we are perishing?

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying to him, You dumb and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold your peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and did not hurt him.

And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered to them.

And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we are perishing! Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.
