And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought to him all sick people that were taken with various diseases and torments, and those who were possessed with devils, and those who were insane, and those who were paralytics; and he healed them.

And, behold, they brought to him a man sick from paralysis, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said to the man sick from paralysis; Son, be of good cheer; your sins be forgiven you.

For which is easier, to say, Your sins be forgiven you; or to say, Arise, and walk?

But that you may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins, (he said to the one sick with paralysis,)

And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said to them, Why do you reason these things in your hearts?

And he said to her, Your sins are forgiven.
