And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, did not believe.
If I had called, and he had answered me; yet would I not believe that he had listened to my voice.
And Moses spoke so unto the children of Israel: but they did not listen to Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel slavery.
And when they saw him, they worshiped him: but some doubted.
He answered him, and said, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I endure you? Bring him to me.
And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they did not believe them.
And while they yet did not believe for joy, and wondered, he said to them, Have you here any food?
The other disciples therefore said to him, We have seen the Lord. But he said to them, Unless I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
