She has done what she could: she has come beforehand to anoint my body for the burying.

Your people shall be willing in the day of your power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: you have the dew of your youth.

For in that she has poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.

And now when the evening had come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,

And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulcher that was cut in stone, in which never before was anyone laid.

Then said Jesus, Let her alone: for the day of my burial has she kept this ointment.

For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what a man has, and not according to what he has not.
