The Son of man indeed goes, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had never been born.

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.

Let death seize upon them, and let them go down alive into the grave: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.

Just as many were astonished at you; his appearance was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:

Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

And after sixty two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and until the end of the war desolations are determined.

Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man who is my fellow, says the LORD of hosts: strike the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn my hand to the little ones.

But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?

But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

And he answered and said to them, It is one of the twelve, who dips with me in the dish.

And as they ate, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.

I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and you did not take me: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.

And truly the Son of man goes, as it was determined: but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed!

And he said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, said, I thirst.

That he may take part in this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.

Him, being delivered by the determining decision and foreknowledge of God, you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

For of a truth against your holy child Jesus, whom you have anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,
