And all the city was gathered together at the door.
And they went into Capernaum; and immediately on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.
And he healed many that were sick of various diseases, and cast out many devils; and did not permit the devils to speak, because they knew him.
And there went out to him all the land of Judea, and those of Jerusalem, and were all baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
