And I saw, and bore record that this is the Son of God.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

And the Father himself, who has sent me, has borne witness of me. You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

And we believe and are sure that you are that Christ, the Son of the living God.

And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has transferred us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
