And when he came into the house, he did not allow anyone to go in, except Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
He went in therefore, and shut the door upon both of them, and prayed unto the LORD.
He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
And he took with him Peter and James and John, and began to be greatly amazed, and to be heavily weighed down;
Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,
But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: only believe, and she shall be made whole.
And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeps.
And it came to pass about eight days after these sayings, that he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.
But Peter put them all out, and knelt down, and prayed; and turning to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
