And it was told him by certain people who said, Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see you.
Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
Then came to him his mother and his brothers, and could not come to him because of the crowd.
And he answered and said to them, My mother and my brothers are these who hear the word of God, and do it.
These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.
Do we not have the right to lead around a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and like the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?
But I saw none of the other apostles, except James the Lord’s brother.
