And when they came to Jesus, they pleaded with him earnestly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:

And into whatever city or town you shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy; and there remain till you go from there.

And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.

But those who shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

And when he heard of Jesus, he sent the elders of the Jews to him, pleading with him that he would come and heal his servant.

For he loves our nation, and he has built us a synagogue.

A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, who gave many gifts to the people, and prayed to God always.

You have a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
