And the king answered and said to the man of God, Plead now before the face of the LORD your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God appealed to the LORD, and the king’s hand was restored to him again, and became as it was before.

If I have repaid evil to him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is my enemy:)

Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and let not your heart be glad when he stumbles:

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.

And he said to them, Be careful what you hear: with the measure you use, it shall be measured to you: and to you who hear shall more be given.

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his garments, and cast lots.

Blessed are you, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing back; and your reward shall be great, and you shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind to the unthankful and to the evil.

But that on the good ground are those who in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

Be careful therefore how you hear: for whoever has, to him shall be given; and whoever has not, from him shall be taken even that which he seems to have.

And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bore fruit a hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried out, He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went around doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil; for God was with him.

But Paul cried out with a loud voice, saying, Do yourself no harm: for we are all here.

And he knelt down, and cried out with a loud voice, Lord, do not let this sin stand against them. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good to all men, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

See that none renders evil for evil to anyone; but always follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

Beloved, do not follow that which is evil, but that which is good. He that does good is of God: but he that does evil has not seen God.
