And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the grain fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of grain, and ate, rubbing them in their hands.

Seven days shall you eat unleavened bread; even the first day you shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

And you shall count for yourselves from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:

In the first day you shall have a holy convocation: you shall do no common work therein.

No one also having drunk old wine immediately desires new: for he says, The old is better.

And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.

Seven weeks shall you number for yourself: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as you begin to put the sickle to the grain.

When you come into the standing grain of your neighbor, then you may pluck the ears with your hand; but you shall not move a sickle unto your neighbor’s standing grain.
