And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad: for he had desired to see him for a long time, because he had heard many things about him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.
But Naaman was angry, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and heal the leper.
And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was widely known:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works reveal themselves in him.
And when he had called the people to him with his disciples also, he said to them, Whoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
And he said to them, You will surely say to me this proverb, Physician, heal yourself: whatever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in your country.
