You shall not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shall you speak in a controversy to turn aside after many to pervert judgment:

My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.

When the evening had come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus’ disciple:

Joseph of Arimathaea, an honorable counselor, who also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly to Pilate, and begged for the body of Jesus.

And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the comforting of Israel: and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise to the Lord, and spoke of him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

And he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom.

This man went to Pilate, and begged for the body of Jesus.

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim-zophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:
