So shall you say to Joseph, Forgive, I pray you now, the trespass of your brothers, and their sin; for they did unto you evil: and now, we pray you, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father. And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

They part my garments among them, and cast lots for my clothing.

Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he has poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes.

Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in your sight.

But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you, and persecute you;

And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.

Saying, Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but yours, be done.

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for those whom thou hast given me; for they are thine.

Jesus answered, You could have no power at all against me, unless it were given you from above: therefore he that delivered me to you has the greater sin.

But Paul cried out with a loud voice, saying, Do yourself no harm: for we are all here.

And now, brethren, I know that through ignorance you did it, as did also your rulers.

And he knelt down, and cried out with a loud voice, Lord, do not let this sin stand against them. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Bless those who persecute you: bless, and do not curse.

Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

And labor, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we bear it:

Who was formerly a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

Not repaying evil for evil, or insults for insults: but on the contrary blessing; knowing that you are called to this, that you should inherit a blessing.
