Yet I had planted you a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then are you turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine to me?

For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered to them his goods.

He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

And at the season he sent a servant to the farmers, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the farmers beat him, and sent him away empty.

And Jesus said to them, Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.

Judges and officers shall you appoint for yourselves in all your gates, which the LORD your God gives you, throughout your tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.
