Last of all the woman died also.
One generation passes away, and another generation comes: but the earth remains for ever.
For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.
Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? For seven had her as wife.
And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this comes the judgment:
And also all that generation were gathered to their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor the works which he had done for Israel.
