Then said he to another, And how much do you owe? And he said, A hundred measures of wheat. And he said to him, Take your bill, and write eighty.

But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, who owed him a hundred silver coins: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me what you owe.

And he said, A hundred measures of oil. And he said to him, Take your bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.

And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are wiser in their generation than the children of light.

And she was a widow of about eighty four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fasting and prayers night and day.

And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and threw him out.

Then he began to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and rented it out to farmers, and went into a far country for a long time.
