So Haman came in. And the king said to him, What shall be done for the man whom the king delights to honor? Now Haman thought in his heart, To whom would the king delight to do honor more than to myself?
And what will you do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from afar? to whom will you flee for help? and where will you leave your treasures?
So when evening was come, the lord of the vineyard said to his steward, Call the laborers, and give them their wages, beginning from the last until the first.
And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the side of the highway begging.
And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was being carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask gifts from those who entered into the temple;
And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what will you have me to do? And the Lord said to him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told you what you must do.
