The diseased have you not strengthened, neither have you healed that which was sick, neither have you bound up that which was broken, neither have you brought back that which was driven away, neither have you sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have you ruled them.

But Jesus said to him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

And he came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to him, and pleaded with him to touch him.

Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

And bring here the fattened calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and singing.

It was fitting that we should make merry, and be glad: for this your brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he finds it?

For the Son of man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Jesus said to him, Let the dead bury their dead: but you go and preach the kingdom of God.

Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he who believes in me, though he was dead, yet shall he live:

For as the Father raises up the dead, and gives them life; even so the Son gives life to whom he will.

For if the casting away of them is the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

Likewise consider yourselves also to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Neither yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin: but yield yourselves to God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

And you has he made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

Even when we were dead in sins, has made us alive together with Christ, (by grace you are saved;)

Therefore he says, Awake you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light.

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has he made alive together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

But she who lives in pleasure is dead while she lives.

These are spots in your love feasts when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried around by winds; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

And to the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things says he who has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, and are dead.
