The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.
Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Israel, that you may teach them the good way in which they should walk, and give rain upon your land, which you have given to your people for an inheritance.
O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, listen and act; do not delay, for your own sake, O my God: for your city and your people are called by your name.
Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say to him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we return the sacrifices of our lips.
Those on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
There has no temptation overtaken you but such as is common to mankind: but God is faithful, who will not permit you to be tempted more than you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.
Fear none of those things which you shall suffer: behold, the devil shall put some of you into prison, that you may be tried; and you shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give you a crown of life.
Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation which shall come upon all the world to try those who dwell upon the earth.
