Leviticus 19:14

And Joseph said to them the third day, This do, and live; for I fear God:

But the former governors that had been before me were costly to the people, and had taken from them bread and wine, besides forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bore rule over the people: but so I did not, because of the fear of God.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all those who do his commandments: his praise endures for ever.

You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: you shall not favor the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor.

You shall rise up before the gray head, and honor the face of the old man, and fear your God: I am the LORD.

You shall not therefore oppress one another; but you shall fear your God: for I am the LORD your God.

Bless those who persecute you: bless, and do not curse.

Let us not therefore judge one another any longer: but determine this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.

Give no offense, either to the Jews, or to the Gentiles, or to the church of God:

Cursed be he that makes the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.

And if you call on the Father, who without regard for status judges according to everyone’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication.
