Depart, depart, go ye out from there, touch no unclean thing; go out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.

They shall not dwell in the LORD’S land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things in Assyria.

And the swine, though he divides the hoof, and is clovenfooted, yet he does not chew the cud; he is unclean to you.

These shall you eat of all that are in the waters: whatever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall you eat.

Or if a soul touches any unclean thing, whether it be a carcass of an unclean beast, or a carcass of unclean cattle, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.

Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.

These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.

There is nothing from outside a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are the things that defile the man.

And he said to them, Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive, that whatever thing from outside enters into the man, it cannot defile him;

And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashed, hands, they found fault.

And he said to them, You know how it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come to one of another nation; but God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

That you abstain from foods offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if you keep yourselves, you shall do well. Farewell.

It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor anything by which your brother stumbles, or is offended, or is made weak.

But food does not commend us to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; nor, if we do not eat, are we the worse.

Therefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Do not be therefore sharers in these things with them.

Let no one therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or with respect to a holy day, or the new moon, or the sabbath days:

Which were only concerned with foods and drinks, and various washings, and fleshly ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
