That we from this time on be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried around with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, and cleverness, by which they lie in wait to deceive;

Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Put to death therefore your members which are upon the earth: fornication, uncleanness, unsanctified passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry,

Let your conduct be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you,
