Then Moses said to Aaron, This is what the LORD spoke, saying, I will be sanctified in those who come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

That would be far from you to do in this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that would be far from you: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

But he said to her, You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honored over Pharaoh, and over all his army; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.

And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, so that the LORD does not break forth upon them.

And the LORD said to him, Depart, go down, and you shall come up, you, and Aaron with you: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up to the LORD, so that he does not break forth upon them.

And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office.

Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which you have spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days.

And said to me, You are my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Depart, depart, go ye out from there, touch no unclean thing; go out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.

I will accept you with your sweet savor, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries in which you have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen.

And say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against you, O Sidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of you: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

And you shall come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring you against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in you, O Gog, before their eyes.

And the chamber whose face is toward the north is for the priests who have charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, who come near to the LORD to minister unto him.

Then said he to me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they are holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the food offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.

Neither shall he profane his descendents among his people: for I the LORD do sanctify him.

Speak to Aaron, saying, Whoever he be of your descendents in their generations that has any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.

No man that has a blemish of the descendents of Aaron the priest shall come near to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he has a blemish; he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.

They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.

You shall sanctify him therefore; for he offers the bread of your God: he shall be holy unto you: for I the LORD, who sanctifies you, am holy.

They shall therefore keep my ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die from it, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them.

Therefore shall you remain at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and obey the instruction of the LORD, so that you do not die: for so I am commanded.

And he spoke to Korah and to all his company, saying, Even tomorrow the LORD will show who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he has chosen will he cause to come near unto him.

And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, Because you did not believe me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Father, glorify thy name. Then there came a voice from heaven, saying, I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.

And whatever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Because you trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you did not sanctify me in the midst of the children of Israel.

When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all those who believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

For the time has come that judgment must begin at the household of God: and if it first begins with us, what shall the end be of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Therefore the LORD God of Israel says, I said indeed that your house, and the house of your father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD says, Be it far from me; for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

And Samuel told him every detail, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the LORD: let him do what seems good to him.

And the men of Beth-shemesh said, Who is able to stand before this holy LORD God? and to whom shall he go up from us?
