And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the spirit: and great fear came on all those who heard these things.

Now all these things happened to them as examples: and they are written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

And he struck the men of Beth-shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the LORD, even he struck of the people fifty thousand and seventy men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had stricken many of the people with a great slaughter.
