And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering instead of his son.

And he said, Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will tell you of.

And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

And Noah built an altar to the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was seventy bullocks, a hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.

And they removed the burnt offerings, that they might give according to the divisions of the families of the people, to offer unto the LORD, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the oxen.

Your people shall be willing in the day of your power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: you have the dew of your youth.

I delight to do your will, O my God: yea, your law is within my heart.

Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: you shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.

And you shall burn the whole ram on the altar: it is a burnt offering to the LORD: it is a sweet savor, an offering made by fire to the LORD.

And Aaron and his sons you shall bring to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall wash them with water.

This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD: where I will meet you, to speak there to you.

And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD’S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.

The children of Israel brought a willing offering to the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

Take from among you an offering to the LORD: whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,

And they received from Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, with which to make it. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.

And he made the altar of burnt offering of acacia wood: five cubits was the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof; it was foursquare; and three cubits the height thereof.

To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? says the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I do not delight in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

For in my holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, says the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the first fruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.

And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering.

And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.

And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a food offering, mixed with oil, and one log of oil.

And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

And brings it not to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he has shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:

And you shall say to them, Whatever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,

And brings it not to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.

And you shall offer that day when you wave the sheaf a he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.

And you shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their food offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savor unto the LORD.

And if his offering be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offers it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD.

And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the LORD: and the bullock shall be killed before the LORD.

Or if his sin, in which he has sinned, comes to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:

If the priest that is anointed sins according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he has sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.

And if he brings a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.

If a soul commits a trespass, and sins through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with your estimation by shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering:

And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with your estimation, for a trespass offering, to the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance in which he erred and knew it not, and it shall be forgiven him.

If a soul sins, and commits a trespass against the LORD, and lies to his neighbor in that which was delivered to him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or has deceived his neighbor;

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offers his sacrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:

And he brought the ram for the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

And he washed the innards and the legs in water; and Moses burnt the whole ram upon the altar: it was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet savor, and an offering made by fire unto the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

And he said to Aaron, Take a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.

Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man who is my fellow, says the LORD of hosts: strike the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn my hand to the little ones.

But cursed be the deceiver who has in his flock a male, and vows, and sacrifices unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, says the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.

And will make an offering by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet savor unto the LORD, of the herd, or of the flock:

And when you prepare a bullock for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice in performing a vow, or peace offerings unto the LORD:

This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD has commanded, saying, Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring you a red heifer without spot, in which is no blemish, and upon which a yoke never came:

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

And Balak said to Balaam, Come, I pray you, I will bring you to another place; perhaps it will please God that you may curse them for me from there.

And Balaam said to Balak, Stand by your burnt offering, and I will go: perhaps the LORD will come to meet me: and whatever he shows me I will tell you. And he went to a high place.

And Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.

And in the beginnings of your months you shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot;

But you shall offer a sacrifice made by fire for a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, and seven lambs of the first year: they shall be to you without blemish:

You shall offer them besides the continual burnt offering, and its food offering, (they shall be unto you without blemish) and their drink offerings.

And you shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savor unto the LORD; thirteen young bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year; they shall be without blemish:

And you shall offer a burnt offering for a sweet savor unto the LORD; one young bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year without blemish:

And the angel answered and said to her, The Holy Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of you shall be called the Son of God.

And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he said, Behold the Lamb of God!

Then said Jesus to them again, Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

I am the door: by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what a man has, and not according to what he has not.

Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.

For through him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

And you shall offer your burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD your God: and the blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD your God, and you shall eat the flesh.

And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, you shall not sacrifice it to the LORD your God.

You shall not sacrifice unto the LORD your God any bullock, or sheep, in which is a blemish, or any defect: for that is an abomination unto the LORD your God.

For such a high priest was suited to us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
