And prayed unto him: and he answered him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he was God.
His prayer also, and how God answered him, and all his sin, and his trespass, and the places in which he built high places, and set up groves and sculptured images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers.
Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears: behold, I will add to your days fifteen years.
Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of your servant, and his supplications, and cause your face to shine upon your sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord’s sake.
Likewise the Spirit also helps our weaknesses: for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
