I intend therefore to put you in remembrance, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
And it came to pass the very same day, that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.
Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly to you in part, as calling you to remembrance, because of the grace that is given to me by God,
Yet in this thing you did not believe the LORD your God,
For some, when they had heard, did provoke: however not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
This second epistle, beloved, I now write to you; in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
