Now these are the names of the tribes. From the north end to the coast along the way of Hethlon, as one goes to Hamath, then Hazar-enan, and the boundary of Damascus northward, and along the boundary of Hamath; for these are his sides east and west; a portion for Dan.
So Joshua struck all the country of the hills, and of the south, and of the valley, and of the springs, and all their kings: he left none remaining, but completely destroyed all that breathed, as the LORD God of Israel commanded.
